The 9th Goal Partner Conference was held on November 22–25, 2018 at Mövenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu, the Queen City of the Philippines, by Mr. Wichien Rungpanya, Goal President, in cooperation with Ms. Karla C. Silva, General Manager of Rapid Inc, Philippines, Host Country. The conference atmosphere was full of friendship and family styles, as is the signature of a Goal Conference.
The committee also recognises that today’s business world has been moving and changing rapidly due to new innovative technologies, which have significantly affected all industries — no exception to our freight forwarding and logistics industry. Therefore the team has been attending several seminars and exhibitions over the past 2 years to observe and explore new technology relevant to e-commerce and e-payment. On this occasion we invited special guests to present their newly invented technology products which might support freight forwarding and logistics businesses.
Two and a half years had passed since the 8th Goal Conference, which is quite a long time without officially meeting all of the Goal family, so this conference was a good occasion for sharing business issues and relaxing together at a wonderful place in Cebu. We were perfectly welcomed by the host team, and this is surely the signature of a Goal Conference.
