“Welcome to the Land of the Rising Sun” — greeting from Mr. Steve Ko at the 10th Goal Conference 2019, Tokyo, Japan during November 27–30, 2019. Our event was held at Shinagawa Prince Hotel, in the business centre of Tokyo.
This was the first time for a Goal Partner Network Conference in Japan, cooperating with Mr. Steve Ko, Managing Director of Apex International Inc., Host Country.
We also invited new attendees as special guests from 12 companies; in total we had 50 attendees from 47 companies across 20 countries around the world, which made another significant and successful event for Goal in Japan.
Every Goal Conference has an “on stage session” for members willing to update and share their business opportunities and the situation in their country. This time we had Mr. Gordon Campbell from Seabourne Forwarding Ltd, UK on the situation in the UK & Netherlands market, and Mr. Syed Rehan Sohail from Speed Forwarding of Trisea Group, Pakistan, sharing a successful business case after co-operating with a GOAL member.
It was also our pleasure to have Mr. Martin Lee from WiseTech Global, one of the well-known logistics software providers, introduce how CargoWise supports logistics operations with more productivity and efficiency.
After the conference we had an exclusive dinner on an authentic Japanese cruise, served with local Japanese seafood dishes while enjoying the scenery of Tokyo Bay. For the outdoor event, the Goal family said “Hi” to Mt. Fuji at Kawaguchiko.
