Message from the Chairman
Times flying, after the 3rd GOAL Partner Conference in Kota Kinabalu, East Malaysia since 2007 until last week, it has been about 2 years the GOAL committee had decided to sustained the 4th conference until we have clear directions of GOAL & more establishment of this organization. In addition, most of the committees also have to be more seriously concerned about their individual business growth during global economics crisis during 2008–2009 which resulted to the sustaining of the meeting for 2 years.
Nevertheless, as the founders & leaders of this Global Organization, the committee had been meeting each other several times during 2008–2009 and most of the topic of discussion was how to grow the GOAL partner group to be moving towards in proper shape of establishment & directions. The committee members had also spending their own expenses for several joining into seminars, exhibitions & other association conferences in order to capture all the valuable experiences & ideas from those in order for adapting to the next GOAL conference with better position & direction.
Not until mid of 2009, the committee had more confidences with new launch of GOAL website construction which to be launched after final revision after the meeting and new initiative of one-to-one meeting as to create big opportunity & benefits for the members in joint business development among each others and felt it’s time for the 4th GOAL Conference. Hence, the committees had unanimously voted for WLS Group, Malaysia to take the big challenge as the hosting country during Feb 4–6, 2010.
Many thanks to all overseas delegates & participants in joining the 4th GOAL Partner Conference which you guys have been creating another page of history for GOAL to move towards a greater success we ever had with the number of 58 participants from 20 countries.
Congratulations to Vietnam, Vietfracht Group, to become the 5th GOAL Partner Conference in Hochiminh City, Vietnam in 2011 as voted in the meeting.
